David Wills, of Negativland, is known as ‘The Weatherman’. He provided sounds, tape collages, hacked & jammed recordings, plus a ton of other stuff to that ‘band’.
He has a website that I have borrowed from a plenty. Old jingles, radio spots, and… this most excellent recording:

Sung by Frances Archer & Beverly Gile, ‘Frog Went a-Courtin’ dates back to the 1550s and has been covered by everyone from Elvis to Bob Dylan to Tex Ritter to – and, most especially, Uncle Pecos:
I’ve always loved the tune.
So I did what I do: I cut the heck out of this recording and crafted a 50 second bit out of the pieces. I layered the vocal parts atop the first four seconds of guitar, which I looped twelve times.
It was more difficult than one might think. Matching the guitar accompaniment of the vocals to the underlying loop was rough.
Doe-Ho!
